Mashed Potato Candy
It sounds incredibly gross, but it's actually really good.
I usually let people try it and *then* tell them what's
in it:-) **contributed by aimellah**
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp. mashed potatoes (maybe more)
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Mix all ingredients--roll out. Then spread peanut butter
on top of rolled out candy. Roll up, cut into slices. Refigerate
at least 3 hours before serving. ***The trick to making
this candy is to combine just the right amount of mashed
potatoes w/sugar....too much sugar and it gets too dry,
too much mashed potatoes and it's too soggy. Start with
a Tbsp of mashed potatoes and mix in the powdered sugar
little by little until you get a firm texture.***
