How The Salad Bowl Got Its Name

What a laugh to read/hear all the titles/names bestowed upon us all. I honestly feel that we are all in this huge salad bowl called Earth and all the criticisms, name calling, hurtful remarks, and even the presence of "ignorant, lazy to learn more" people are the various salad dressings you pour on the salad. Like the supermarket shelves, there are so many different brands and types of dressings. If we (like the ingredients in the bowl, if they cringe, which they don't unless the dressing is warm) get upset and hurt everytime someone makes a remark, we would all curl up and die. We should learn to smile and show by example. It is so contagious when you smile and act like you want to be treated.
As old as I am and having raised 2 wonderful kids in Asia, Africa, Europe and US, I can honestly say that the bowl I'm living in is so fresh, tasty, and ever so exciting. I am indeed blessed to be so enriched by being in this salad bowl.
